Pytes — Common Questions

What Pytes batteries do you service?

We service Pytes E-BOX-48100R (48V 100Ah), V5° (48V 100Ah), R-BOX (48V 200Ah), and other Pytes LiFePO4 battery models. We also service Pytes battery banks configured in parallel.

What inverters are compatible with Pytes batteries?

Pytes batteries are compatible with Sol-Ark, EG4, Growatt, Victron, Deye, and other hybrid inverters via CAN or RS485 communication. We configure and service Pytes batteries with any compatible inverter brand.

My Pytes battery is not communicating with my inverter — what could be wrong?

Pytes battery communication issues can be caused by incorrect CAN/RS485 settings in the inverter, a faulty communication cable, incorrect DIP switch settings on the battery, or a BMS firmware issue. We diagnose the root cause on-site and restore communication.

How long should a Pytes LiFePO4 battery last?

Pytes LiFePO4 batteries are rated for 6,000 charge cycles at 80% depth of discharge. With proper charge parameters and operating conditions, a Pytes battery should last 15–20 years in a typical residential backup application.

Can you service a Pytes battery system I installed myself?

Yes. We service Pytes battery systems regardless of who installed them, including DIY installations. We can diagnose configuration issues, check wiring safety, and verify the battery system is operating correctly.
