Tesla Powerwall 2 and Powerwall 3 carry a 10-year warranty covering defects and capacity retention (70% at 10 years with unlimited cycles). Powerwall 1 has a 10-year warranty as well. Warranty service is handled through Tesla — we provide diagnostic documentation to support your claim.
A Powerwall that is not charging can be caused by a software or firmware issue, a gateway communication fault, a solar inverter problem preventing charging, a grid connection issue, or a hardware fault in the Powerwall itself. We diagnose all of these scenarios on-site.
Yes. We service Powerwall systems from any installer. We can troubleshoot gateway connectivity, reconfigure backup settings, and perform diagnostic work regardless of who originally installed the system.
The Powerwall 3 is Tesla's current generation with 13.5 kWh capacity and an integrated solar inverter (no separate solar inverter needed). The Powerwall 2 also has 13.5 kWh capacity but requires a separate solar inverter. Both are serviceable by us.
Some capacity loss over time is normal — Powerwall is warranted to retain 70% capacity at 10 years. If your backup duration has dropped significantly in a short period, it may indicate a cell degradation issue or a configuration problem. We perform a state of health check to determine the cause.
